The Mac Pro's starting price is $5,999 and that includes a 3.5HGz 8-core Intel Xeon W processor, 32GB of DDR4 ECC memory, a Radeon Pro 580X and a 256GB SSD. Oh, and a mouse and keyboard, of course. And while that's already a potent computer, Apple's serious about going all-out with this hardware. Want two Gideon Pro Vega II Duo GPUs? That'll be $10,800. Want to go up to 4TB with your SSD? That's $1,400 extra.
And that's not even including Apple's new top-of-the-line display, the Pro Display XDR, whose 6K screen will add another $5,000 to your bill. The Mac Pro is available to order today, after months of anticipation following its reveal at WWDC this year. But brace yourself for some sticker shock as you go through that customization process.
